Life Support and Life Support 3.

• Basic life support to current protocols;
• Life support covers BLS for adult casualties;
• Life support 3 covers BLS for adult, child and infant casualties.

Lifesaving 1, 2 and 3.

• Awards in basic lifesaving techniques, intended primarily for children.

Bronze Medallion, Award of Merit and Distinction.

• Lifesaving techniques for candidates 12 years and over, especially suited to adults.

Bronze and Silver Cross.

• Awards for trained lifesavers assessed in open water.

National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC).

• Suitable for those supervising programmed sessions in swimming pools.

Emergency Response – Activity Supervisor.

• Suitable for those supervising water-based activities such as rafting;
•  
  Successful candidates can take additional tests and achieve the

  NRASTC as well.

Emergency Response – Open Water.

• Suitable for those supervising activities around water or who may have to respond to an aquatic emergency.
